We offer photography and content services specifically for eCommerce brand and product marketing, including product page silos for killer carousels, styled images, stop-motion animations, and short-form product feature videos. Our core pricing is structured into service packages for transparency and to prevent the hidden costs and production rush that typically come with per-image pricing. We offer a mix-and-match style of add-ons for any project need, and have half- and full-day pricing listed for larger-scale work.

Photos for our base product silo service on white can often be taken, edited, and delivered within just a week of receiving the product. Typically, the average project is completed within a 3-4 week period, from first conversation to final approvals. All projects are highly dependent on product logistics, the complexity and scale of the project (complex styling or larger products), or simply by the sheer volume of items to be photographed. Specific timelines are determined and discussed on a per-project basis during the initial discovery conversations.

For the past 11 years, Capture Content has had the opportunity to work with a large variety of brands across a spectrum of markets, including food & beverage, gift & hosting, medical, health & wellness, jewelry, furniture, and apparel brands. We’ve worked with items as small as an earring, and as large as a full bedroom suite. We always welcome the opportunity to work with different types of brands, no matter the product challenge.

This is what the Discovery stage is all about. We discuss your brand needs and figure out how to best serve them. We’ve worked with a lot of eCommerce brands and leverage what we’ve learned from other project strategies to help guide the selection of an appropriate project scope and specific deliverables.

Planning
Determine visual direction, what’s required to make it happen, and when and how we’re going to do it.

We work carefully with brands that have a pre-defined brand style and/or existing content to make sure the look and feel of new assets matches and is seamlessly cohesive. We take pride in the craft of recreating styling and lighting conditions as needed so that the visual signature aligns with any existing creative.

We really enjoy working with brands that are still exploring visual directions, or looking for something different. We perform an analysis of the market and evaluate what competitors are doing as part of our standard planning process, then work with your brand to define a unique visual position that will stand out from the pack and capture the essence and intention of your brand identity and products.

Our experience with styling scenes that look natural while also serving specific eCommerce brand needs is, quite honestly, a big reason to work with us vs. other photographers or studios. Our extensive collection of props and backgrounds typically means that if we need it, we’ve got it! And unlike others, we don’t hide additional expenses in the use of props that we already have access to here in our studio.

Okay, this is a big one. Products that are less than perfect can really throw a wrench in an otherwise smooth process. We always suggest a minimum of two of each product, hand selected when possible to be as perfect as possible. We’re talking straight labels and clean graphic prints with no marks, blemishes, smudges, or unruly wrinkles. For fragile items, being overly vigilant and slightly excessive with shipping preparations is recommended. After the shoot, we happily return any unopened or non-perishables products for brands that include a return label and would like their items back.
Production
Work tirelessly to make the vision come to life. Send proofs in real time if possible for on-the-spot feedback. Edit and approve.

Test previews are often shared before or at the very beginning of the shoot, acting as a last minute check before fully committing to the styling and light. Typically, enough due diligence is done during the Discovery and Planning stages to prevent any major surprises, except for the excitement of seeing ideas come to life. We work carefully with you through every step of the process to make sure any and all feedback is considered and actioned, with the purpose to no just meet, but exceed expectations.

On some occasions, it is necessary for the client to be available for a remote check-in during the shoot, typically through Facetime or WhatsApp. We happily accomodate this in situations that we determine it’s absolutely required, and plan accordingly ahead of time.

AI-generated content needs a high-quality product image source to produce usable results. We often shoot specifically with the intention of using AI to edit, enhance, or create more variations. We embrace and use a large number of AI tools and platforms to embolden our production capabilities, quality, workflow, and output volume and speed. It allows for faster and more thorough post-processing, and gives us many options that weren’t previously possible.

We aim for you to be 100% happy with what we produce. Proofs are sent in the form of easily viewable preview galleries for comments and up to two rounds of revisions are baked into every project.

Lots of questions revolve around what can (and can’t) be done in post production, and what is included. There are simply no assets that don’t require some work in post, and we include most services like creating clipping masks (cutting the product out) as part of the main fee, something that’s often added on as an additional cost by other studios. For anything that would be an additional cost, like the creation of multiple variations of an asset, this is fully discussed and agreed upon at the onset of the project so there are no surprises.

We’re not just your average content studio, and have over a decade of experience specifically shooting, preparing, optimizing, and implementing assets across the full spectrum of digital marketing and eCommerce channels. We’ve worked with sites on Shopify, BigCommerce, and Magento, as well as Meta and Google Ads, CTV streaming ads, and email marketing campaigns. This direct experience allows us to provide assets that are ready to use the second you receive them. Our work is always saved to industry-standard sizes for each application, with optimized custom compression methods for fast on-site delivery that maintains visual quality.

We employ multiple file editing and export automations during the post-production and delivery preparation process. We’re able make repetitive editing actions or save out multiple formats and sizes without the additional time it would typically take to do so manually. We give full rights to you, the brand. Our modern licensing approach allows for unrestricted usage of the assets for any and all digital and traditional design and marketing needs, including the use of AI to create variations of the original. No restrictions, aside from reselling the assets for profit or credit. We believe strongly in this working methodology, knowing it’s the best way to fully support and embolden eCommerce brands and their content needs.

We happily work with many brands that have ongoing product releases, or prefer to just complete projects in stages, and pride ourselves on being able to perfectly match previously existing images (by ourselves or others). We take detailed production notes, and are able to consistently produce identical results with similar products even when photographed during completely different sessions at different times. We retain all working files so there’s never a problem picking up a project where it was left off for future updates, editing, or referencing.
